1994 - 2026
2006
BIG opens its first outlet in Damansara Utama.
2017
BIG pharmacy grew organically to 12 retail outlets in Klang Valley between 2006 and 2017.
2018
BIG Pharmacy expanded beyond Klang Valley to Johor to target tourists and customers predominantly from Singapore through the acquisition of and merger with Red Cap Pharmacy.
2019
BIG Pharmacy expanded its retail outlet network in Johor through the acquisition of My Pharmacy.
2021
BIG Pharmacy expanded its footprint into the East Coast of Malaysia through the acquisition of an equity interest in Mercury Wellness.

1994
First outlet founded by 5 pharmacists.
2013
Grows to 85 outlets and becomes a public-listed company on Bursa Malaysia.
2014
CARiNG Pharmacy celebrated its 20th anniversary and continues to expand, surpassing 100 stores.
2020
7-Eleven Malaysia acquires 75% of CARiNG, strengthening its backing and growth.
2021
CARiNG later acquires Georgetown & Wellings Pharmacy, adding 26 stores.
2023
BIG CARING GROUP diversified and integrated its business to include manufacturing of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and other healthcare products through the acquisition of an equity interest Yanling Holdings.
2025
BIG Pharmacy was awarded the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2025 (Gold in Retail Category for BIG Pharmacy) and the Putra Brand Awards 2025 (Bronze in Retail Category for CARiNG Pharmacy).
BIG CARING GROUP acquired YourPhysio, introducing physiotherapy to its business.
2026
BIG CARING GROUP acquires ICare Pharmacy.
