Klang, 2 December 2025 — BIG CARiNG Group, Malaysia’s largest pharmacy chain that houses BIG Pharmacy, CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Ting Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy, officially announces a strategic partnership with Taiwan’s leading pharmacy chain Great Tree Pharmacy and Japan’s 100-year-old health brand B&S Corporation. This collaboration marks a major milestone in building a win-win ecosystem for Asia’s health and wellness industry.
This partnership aims to introduce clinically proven, science-backed health products to markets across Asia by combining the Group’s extensive retail pharmacy network with Great Tree Pharmacy’s market-leading expertise and B&S Corporation’s century-long excellence in advanced health research and stringent quality standards. It reflects the shared commitment of three leading health industry players across Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan, united by a shared mission to advance preventive healthcare and provide consumers in Asia with safer, more professional and trusted health solutions.
Mr. Lee Meng Chuan, Chief Executive Officer of BIG CARiNG Group said, “At BIG CARiNG Group, our mission has always been to expand access to trusted, high-quality healthcare solutions for every community we serve. We believe preventive healthcare is the future of wellness. By combining our collective strengths — Japan’s century-old health expertise, Taiwan’s market-leading pharmacy excellence, and our extensive pharmacy network — we are building a shared pathway to bring clinically proven, science-backed innovations to consumers across Asia.”
As the first milestone of this alliance, the three partners jointly announced that LACTIS, Japan’s renowned century-old postbiotic brand, will officially enter the Malaysian health supplement market in December 2025. Following this, more clinically supported and scientifically formulated Japanese products including Japan’s most clinically validated anti-ageing and senior wellness supplements will be gradually introduced to Malaysian consumers.
Yuko Murakoshi, President & CEO of B&S Corporation said, “Our company began 111 years ago as Japan’s first manufacturer and seller of yogurt, and we have since dedicated over 70 years to lactic acid bacteria research. One of our key achievements, the ‘Lactic Acid Bacteria Extract’, now enters its 41st year. Guided by our corporate philosophy of ‘contributing to the wellbeing of more people’, we remain committed to delivering the true value of our products to every consumer with sincerity and meticulous care. We are deeply grateful to BIG CARiNG Group and Great Tree Pharmacy for recognising and supporting our mission and the value of our products, which have led to this meaningful partnership. Moving forward, we will continue to dedicate our full effort to providing the highest quality products to consumers across Asia.”
Mr. Cheng Ming Long, President of Great Tree Pharmacy said, “With over 30 years of history and as Taiwan’s largest pharmacy chain, Great Tree has always upheld its mission of ‘creating healthier lives for our customers’. Over the years, we have worked closely with leading global manufacturers to introduce high-quality health supplements to consumers. It is an honour to partner with BIG CARiNG Group in bringing the clinically supported and scientifically proven innovations of Japan’s century-old brand, B&S, to Taiwan, Malaysia, and the Asian region. Looking ahead, I believe the combined strengths of all three parties will foster a close, synergistic partnership that delivers outstanding results, enhances consumer health, and builds a sustainable, mutually beneficial healthcare ecosystem.”
From Product Collaboration to Full Strategic Alliance
Since 2024, BIG CARiNG Group and Great Tree Pharmacy have collaborated to introduce the globally patented red yeast product Ankascin568™, which has since garnered strong consumer acceptance. Building on this success, the addition of Japan’s B&S Corporation elevates this cooperation from a product-level partnership into a full strategic alliance, marking the start of a new phase in integrated supply chain and retail development across Asia.
This partnership represents a pivotal moment for Asia’s health industry. It signifies the beginning of a new era of cross-border collaboration, in which leading health brands from Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan create multi-win outcomes for both the healthcare sector and consumers. Together, they strive to advance preventive healthcare and help shape a healthier, safer and internationally benchmarked healthcare ecosystem across Asia.
